Now that Smollett has been found guilty, it is time for the black community to have a discussion. Should we hold Smollett and people like him accountable? Short answer, yes!
Smollett could have started a race war by making these false allegations. He could have gotten innocent people arrested.
It’s bad enough that Smollett staged a hate crime and embarrassed the whole community in front of the entire world, but he gave an avenue for real racism to be ignored or brushed off. A black man staging a hate crime is ammunition given to real racists that will now call every hate crime “fake news.”
I’ve said for quite some time now that Black people need to stop blindly following these so-called leaders propped by the elites. The same can be said about these so-called pro-black organizations that are controlled mainly by three-letter agencies which look to infiltrate and exploit the black community. So the real question we have to ask ourselves is not why did Jussie Smollett stage a hate crime, but who put him up to it, and for what purpose? Unfortunately, these questions are rarely asked.
